Soviet and German infantry struggling in hand-to-hand combat, while Cossack cavalrymen charge in to intervene. But whose side are they really on, I wonder...

Although the box specifies "Soviet", the Cossack nomads fought for both the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany in WWII. Cossacks recieved particularly harsh treatment under Josef Stalin, and many sided with the Nazis as a means of achieving some degree of autonomy.


Once again, this diorama is just a simple experiment set up in the front yard on a plank of wood.
