AH 60L DAP Black Hawk model kit

Description

1:35 scale Black Hawk. After a ridiculously amount of problems plaguing me through the construction process, it's finally done. A blade snapped off the main rotor (you can tell which one), I ran out of dark gray paint, the directions had misprints and typos and were generally less-than-accurate - but it was all totally worth it.

'Razor's Edge' is from the 160th SOAR, who exist specifically to work with Army special forces. There were a few possible configurations to choose from, including 'transport' (not covered by the direction), and 'gunship', with your choice of either 8 AGM Hellfire Missiles, or two sets of 3" Rocket Pods. I chose to build the last version.

This variant is also equipped with two miniguns immediately behind the cockpit, and two Browning .50 calibre machine guns in the troop bay. What the directions and the box art failed to accurately convey, however, is that there is no way of mounting the Brownings when the rocket pods are attatched.

Additional equipment includes an infrared probe on the right, and a FLIR camera on the chin. A feature that I decided not to include was a rescue winch for lowering rope to stranded troops. Wasn't enough space left on this model. No idea what else it comes with.

How did you may the rotors not snap off? I had a similar model couldn't keep the damned rotors on it.
